free useless is a non-objective art exhibition. The show's title is both a call to action and adjectives describing the quality of the work displayed. The art of free useless does not try to persuade audiences or develop a narrative: it is art for the sake of being art.
""Art does not care: it no longer wishes to serve the state and religion, to illustrate history, it wants to have nothing further to do with the object""
— Kazimir Malevich, 1927
In an attempt to take the work out of the gallery setting, two dance parties — apogees — took place during the show's opening and closing. Experimentation with the forms and ideas presented in free useless has continued after the exhibition's end.
